Senior Pictures Overland Park KS | Why do a SENIOR bestie shoot!?

Hi! I’m Lindsey, a lifestyle natural light photographer specializing in Senior Pictures Overland Park KS. This Senior Bestie session was not just a photo shoot, but a celebration of friendship and the chapter they’ve written together. So, when we got the opportunity to photograph three best friends their senior session, we couldn’t be more excited! As Senior Photographers in Overland Park KS, we knew the perfect location that screamed girlie, unique and memorable.

We met downtown at the Seven Swans Creperie in Kansas City. It’s a quant little nook full of history, a unique environment, colorful backdrops, fun lighting and incredible food. Not only did they get to hang out together, but they also enjoyed some delicious crepes and drinks. Let’s face it, sometimes it can be intimidating having the camera on just you. Therefore, having your friends with you helps calm the nerves drastically!

I knew this location had a lot of color, so I requested that they add to those color pops. Brighten their clothing options and work in some fun prints. Think summer fun! I knew it would add to their girlie theme and compliment their fun color drinks and beautiful crepes. Plus, they forgot all about me. It’s like I wasn’t even there. They were as comfortable as could be. Giving our seniors an option to do something during their senior session, helps make things feel more natural.

These best friends had the opportunity to document their friendship together before they all go their separate ways this fall. As a result, they had me in tears because we know this feeling to well. Our daughter graduated high school last year and we know how important these friendships are. Your high school years go by way too quickly. These pictures all belong printed in a book and told like a story – their story.

This session isn’t just about documenting their final year. It’s about freezing this feeling in time — the comfort of friends who feel like home, who’ve seen every version of you and loved each one.
